Everyone else is just concerned with moving forwards and backwards.
Yet, we move left and right too.

I noticed that with people here, on my first day. I read a post, and then I see a reply that most would say is out of the blue - yet I see it as good insight. It's as though people with Asperger's can function on an entirely different plane of existance - we bring relevant, but unseen aspects in to play.

Just look here, in the "Having AS can land you in jail" thread:
http://www.wrongplanet.net/asperger.htm ... ic&t=15311

Ray M makes some excellent points, but then Goofball immediately follows with:

Quote:
Why this disliking for cops and the authorities? Did you have some bad experiences?

The average person would probably re-read the intial post, and then react to the content. Yet, Goofball stood back and looked at the whole thing and essentially pulled his reply off from the side of the page. We can scroll up and down too, but we also scroll left and right.

Just a different way of looking at things :)

I agree with this post wholeheartedly!

Also, an old friend of mine used to ask the same question implied in the subject of this thread all the time!

I don't see him very much anymore, but he certainly is one of a kind!
