Yeah, I'm a bit annoyed. Maybe its another situation that's bothering me, but this is bothering me too.

I'm a thread killer.

I end up being the last post on some threads.

Honestely.

Also no one ever actually acknowledges what I sya whether to agree or disagree.

I'm just a thread killer and I'm tired of feeling like an outcast everywhere.

Uh... let's see.. You average over 8 posts a day and you end up being the last poster on some threads.

So? What's your point?

I end up the same with far less daily posts. I think that might be just the law of averages.

I'd post a lot more if I could discuss things with people.

As said I writing this because other situations are leaving me annoyed too. Don't make me any more annoyed then what I already am.

Posting last in a thread hasn't any relevance to wanting advice. If you want advice the best option is to start your own thread, in which case you are less likely to be the last poster and if you are you are responding to another person.

Also, a quick fix to posing last is to say something controversial.

I think it's mainly a matter of perception - you're not likely to see anyone else kill a thread because, well, the thread is dead. And if you did see a thread did start to die after someone else, you might post, keeping it alive. You only check back on your own posts, so you notice that more. People tend to view themselves as more important than other people view them - to others you're just another poster, and if you look at the threads most posts will appear to be ignored. It doesn't mean that the input isn't valued, just that it doesn't demand a comment. Ie this post ignores every post in the thread except the OP.

From what I have seen you make intelligent on topic posts. It is the controversial ones that get the most attention, and I haven't noticed any controversial ones from you.

There do seem to be nice people here and from what I have seen you can bring up just about anything and someone will be able to relate.

You mentioned another problem you were having. I noticed you are driven by the need to write. I've also been driven to create music. From my own experience the force that drives this can also create internal frustration. Not to say that this is a problem for you, but if you do feel this way at times it can magnify everything else.

If there is another forum on this website that relates to the other problem you are having, I suggest you open a topic to discuss it there. You may find someone there to discuss it in depth with by chat or PM, if that is what you are looking for.

I noticed you asked not to be annoyed more. What things annoy you?

It would be helpful to state them so they could be avoided.

Everyone's a thread killer sometimes. (I think someone should make that into a song.)
I have felt that way plenty of times, and every forum I've been on has had someone bring it up at least once. The thing is, there are a lot of people here and even more posts. I feel like I post too much and I only respond to a very small fraction of them. Asking direct questions helps a lot of the time, but even then sometimes nobody has an answer. It doesn't mean no one is reading.

I think I am setting the "posting too much" bar.

As for thread killing, I know I've done my share. I usually don't think about it unless I really really want an answer, but even then it slips my mind eventually. I mean, it rarely seems to be a big deal when it happens? Probably doesn't mean much.

I take being a thread killer better here than anywhere else. Here, I don't take it as personally somehow.
