NT girls and their not so engrossing talk!

Yesterday I realized how being an aspie girl can be harder. You cant socialize with NT girls, even when you are invited to. I dont know if any other female aspies feel the same way, but I think that the limited topics that most NT girls always have under discussion are always very unappealing to me. I tend to zone out, prancing around in my day dream, whenever I get caught unwillingly in the web of an NT girls hangout. All they want to talk about ALL THE TIME is their ideal guys, how their dream wedding will be, trendy clothes, self-obsession and the in existent and sometimes dirty secrets of other girls. If you ever ask an NT girl what her passion is, she'd mostly probably answer fashion, fame and beauty. And then I am the one who gets blamed for not contributing to their shallow twisted gossiping.

Go to the library instead; it's more interesting and they won't catch you there and drag you into socialising.

The ones I was formerly living with were always criticizing other girls. It was the only thing they ever talked about. If another girl had a hobby or an interest, they would accuse her of just putting on an act for social purposes or something. And they were always shirking their household responsibilities >:(. Some girls are not like that, though.

I have always found their talk boring. I have noticed that grown up females talk about things in life than about their fashion or guys unless they rant about their partners. But I don't socialize all that much.

Innit. Girls smell.

And this is why I don't have a GF. This is why I don't even care to have one.

i think its a bit harsh to judge NT females that way. i mean sure a lot of them will bore the crap out of you with their vapid and pointless talk but im hanginging out with a bunch of NTs now who talk politics all the time and another bunch who talk about life. not about hair, make up, jewellery, formals or whatever else people try to murder your brain cells with but stuff that matters like work, discrimination, their week, coming out, moving to greener pastures(or from greener pastures in the case of one who lives in a right wing rural environment.). it just depends on who you hang with.

Most NT's spend excessive amounts of time engaging in idle chitchat rather than anything or real importance I have found that NT's can barely spend a couple of minutes on one topic before moving on. Also when an NT says he or she wants to know about something, nine out of ten times, they don't really want to know.

When one of them asks me about how to do something, how to fix something, or how something works, I ask them if they really want to know or do they just want someone to do it for them. If they say that they really want to know, I let them know that I will be glad to tell them, but it will take more than a couple of minutes to explain. That way, I give them fair warning.

This is why most NT's need to be in a classroom in order to learn most things. They need to be in a controlled situation where they are not able to communicate as easy with one another and just about have to give the teacher their undivided attention.
