The internet is a great research tool for my interests and therefore I prefer to spend the bulk of my time online. In fact, I'd rather be on the internet researching things than going out with friends (well, most of the time anyway).

Do you spend most of your time online?

Not sure if I spend literally "most" of my time on the internet, but I am fascinated by it & definitely do use it quite a bit. Whenever I have to look in my history, I'm amazed at where all I've been, over the last however long I was there.

And sometimes (often) would prefer to be online than out with friends. Lately I have been connecting with my friends only as much as I think it takes to keep them as friends. But I've certainly been wrong before about what it takes to keep friends . . .

I spend a lot of my time on the Internet. I spend half of my time on the Internet.

I should be spending more time offline but I am stuck going online (not literally). I feel it takes up my time and I need to do other things.

Too much time, definitely. But the internet is what has taught me about autism. So I'm not going to feel too guilty about it.

More time than most people, I think. Although I love going out and being with other people, I have to have nights during the week where I just research topics of interest.

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.

I spend a lot of time on the internet; mostly after 11pm my time. I don't sleep much at night so I'm very grateful for the internet.

When I'm not at any of my music-related clubs, then yes, I will be on the internet, always. On facebook, WP and MSN. I am on facebook, talking to my boyfriend or looking at what everyone is doing, just to feel included in the adolescent social circle. It's easier talking to a computer than the real thing! Internet is my best friend. :3

My life is the Internet, so yes, the majority of my time is spent online. I spend 10+ hours a day on the Internet. My time online is mostly taken up by writing my best friend (we've never met in real life) on a forum we both frequent and engaging in activities related to my current primary special interest, the YouTube series "Is it a Good Idea to Microwave This?"

Ya, most of my life. Internet is just made for the people like me. Before the Net Era I used to spend my life with books.

I usually spend my entire day in this chair in front of this screen and keyboard, but not all of that time is always spent online.

I'm much like this (though I do spend an awful lot of time online). When I'm just hanging around home, my laptop is basically always in front of or next to me, open and running, connected to everything, but I might be reading or playing around on the guitar or whatever it happens to be. I have a bad habit of leaving myself connected to everything (WP, FB, Skype, etc) and forgetting about it and accidentally neglecting people because of it.
