this was slightly over a year ago when i was a student of 19 years old.

back then i was kinda big since i am 5ft10 and weighed 175 lbs since i used to workout out at the gym and lift very heavy weights.

i am quite an agressive angry person and back then i had been going through stress at college. anyway i was walking into my front drive and these two builders who were working on my house were sitting in thier van. i looked to one of the builders to try and say "hi" and he then gave me a stare like he wanted to get out of the van and punch me or confront me............

do you think these could be a few reasons why he gave me that stare?

I have been told i look pissed off and angry (without realising it)
I have been told i walk weirdly

To be honest when he gave me that look i did get annoyed and alarmed. Do you think think the builder thought i might trying to start trouble?

the builder gave me a really funny stare and then said to me "you alright"

do people with aspergers get themselvs into these kind of tricky situations since they cannot read facial expressions and body langauge? Also we may not be able to respon appropriatly to cues.

Assuming you are on the spectrum, isn't it possible that you completely misinterpreted his facial expression? Maybe he was experiencing heart burn and looked at you just when it hurt the most.

Maybe? But i have seen that look before and its usually a "pyscho" agressive look when guys want to start a fight.

Heart burn? I don't think so. It was a really stiff stare he gave me. Maybe cause i look angry and walk weirdly he thought i was going to do something crazy?

Have you been in many fights with such "psycho aggressive" strangers?

A possibility is that you held eye contact too long (I do this sometimes). Something else may have happened before this incident that had them angry at you, or just in a bad mood.

Yeah I got into a huge fight at school when i was 14 with a 16 year old kid cause the 16 year old tripped me up on purpouse and i kicked him, I lost unfourtantly. I have also been in many fights with my brother and other kids when i was a child.

Put him in a bad mood? I only just go back from college when i saw him.

That would be one fight. This is not uncommon. Plus, this was not a "psycho aggressive" stranger.

Fights with brothers and other kids aren't strangers either.

My point is that you seem to assume aggression in strangers with little evidence.

Do you enjoy fighting?

NO I don't enjoy fighting but at the same time I don't like to be bossed around or intimidated by other humans.

Builders are the WORST thought just stupid thick meatheads or love to start trouble.

My guess (assuming he really was mad) is that he just had some sort of argument with his co-worker and you walked by at the wrong time

This again presumes you are able to correctly read a stranger's emotional state. Autism is by definition a deficit in the ability to do this.

Well, starting with that attitude isn't going to help, is it?
