Spoke to the specialist today to review my evaluation results. Her initial findings is mild aspergers. We went over the results and I added a few things here and there. Basically, I'm darn good at pretending to be normal. For instance, see noticed that my eye contact was forced. When my focus slipped, the eye contact went away completely. She wants to see me again to finish her report.

It's still sinking in. It's one thing to think it's a possibility, but I'm finding it another thing to get this confirmation. It explains a lot. And it's nice to think that I actually belong to a group. But, it's also a bit daunting.

No real questions, just wanted to share.

Let me be one of the first to welcome you to the board, although I haven't been here long myself!

My situation is actually very similar to yours, although my therapist hasn't diagnosed me officially yet. She suggested AS to me during our last session, and in this upcoming one we're going to compile some of the research we've done over the last few weeks to see what we think of the whole thing.
