i talked with my Autism Specialist at my like skills program over the phone today and we discussed the opportunity for me to give a lecture about autism to other students on the spectrum (these kids are in a class to learn all about the in's and out's of the spectrum. I should know I am a former student of the class (I took it my first year of the program back in 2009)
I'm hoping to teach these students to not be afraid to speak up and advocate for themselves and that can get them far in life.
Any suggestions on what else I can teach these kids?
i must admit I've never been a teacher before but I certainly feel like one 8O

As a former student of the class, maybe you could share some of your own experience with today's applications of things you actually learned there.
