I wasnt sure where to post this. After years of struggle, hating myself and feeling inferior to NTs. I can finally say this because things are changing, my attitude is changing, I wont settle for nothing less then equality for myself.
Im (my name) and I am my own individual and I am learning to embrace who I am. I maybe different. My brain may work differently then most and I may fall on the edges of the bell curve but guess what thats ok. Diversity is good, it makes the world more interesting. Like it or not, I will not try to change myself for the world anymore then nature allows me to nor will I mask my real self. I am no ones pity subject, charity cause, mentee, little sister or anything. I did not go 2000 miles away from home for nothing. I am equal to everyone else, I am human like everyone else, and I do not wish to be treated any differently.
