well. I have recently discovered my "aspie sense" anyway, on one fo the teen forums I go to, there was a guy. from the way he posted, and stuff, I just knew he had to be an Aspie! anyway there is a rule agaisnt "attention seeking posts" there. any way he had this to say, kinda out there...wel what do you think? I messaged him told him I have it and if he wanted to talk I was there, and told him the address to wrong planet. here's what he said on the boards about AS:

Quote:
Listen moderators. I have asperger's syndrome. people with asperger's have no interest in "attention", jealousy, popularity and other social nonsense. If you dont know what Autism is, do society a favor and read up on it. You have no right to be censoring me or stunting my research, especially if I am not harming anyone else. I am already one sick paranoid f**k as is. Just do me a favor, and leave me and my posts alone. I have my own reasons for posting and asking questions here.

"Aspie sense" yeah, that's a good name for it.

Mine has really improved in the last couple of years. These days, when my aspie sense is tingling, I just try to confess as much about my own aspieness to the person as I can, to get the conversation flowing without making them too uncomfortable.
I've had pretty good results so far, some really cool, honest conversations with people who normally find it difficult to admit to having the diagnosis.

Good on you for messaging the guy. I think sometimes a little bit of communication between aspies can do a lot of good. :)
