My Strongest AS Traits are my Obsessions. I'm obsessed with London, Routemasters and Swingning London. Everybody here knows it, too, because I never shut up about these three things. I can start my Wrong Planet Sessions, staying on topic on what the Threads are about, and after an hour or two, things about my Obsessions slide off my Fingertips. The same thing happens when I'm having a comfortable conversation with a person or a group of people. At least people know what I honestly like.

Obsessions. OBSESSIONS. My friends tell me that I always talk in monotonous way, but when I talk about my obsessions, my voice is filled with emotions. And they say that I have a special facial expression, they call it "obsessed".

Heh.

Today it's being frustrated with the fact nothing makes sense and that I can't do anything I want to do.

That happens fairly frequently with me. I can be a happy person and deal with things fine and then sometimes I'm struck by how difficult I find certain things and pow...then that's my focus.

So my strongest AS traits are my difficulties with travel and with making friends. I make friends great over the internet and I have no problems with reading facial expressions or tones of voice. I can hold conversations with people just fine. However, I cannot work out whether they like or hate me most of the time (and tend to assume the latter, just in case). And that can be pretty crippling on occasion :S

My obsessions are strong but come in waves so my family get a break. I have five or six obsessions but I don't always talk about those things and I change which one I'm into from time to time. So in that sense I'm not so bad.

Mind you, I do do a heck of a lot of story writing...so maybe that one is ;)

When you are obessiveness to a point, it is very strong point. My IT skills have definitely increased lately because I became obssessed with learning many points of my job.

Like Aspies, I have odd obessession. One of my obessession is like I read to Federal Register daily, watch C-Span, or know which states have the highest pension formulas for retirement. Only an aspie

For example, I went through an obession of knowing all of the properties of PDF files. The result of obesseion is that the I was able to reduce the amount of hardcopy documents in my office and

I think another good thing about Obessessions is that keep us from being bored. I love spending my free time and research obscure and trivial things.

Yeah I know my obessions are my strong aspects of me. Tigers and writing novels are my two stongest obessions. Thrid to them are my obession to the Final Fantasy series music, music videos, pictures and etc.

My current major obsession is "getting a life"

...it's pretty all-consuming at this point.

It would probably be obsessions or bad social skils for me.

I am OBSESSED with writing and typography. I spend way to much time on www.omniglot.com, and try to learn everything that I can about different writing systems.

I also realize that I have substandard social skills. I know that I shouldn't talk to much in a conversation, but it's hard not to when I know alot about a topic, and I find the topic interesting. Also, I have a bad habit of inadvertantly blurting something out without thinking about it.

If you mean "strongest" as "differ most greatly from what is normal for that particular traight" (as opposed to my most important symptoms) then my list would be:
- terrible at sarcasm
- recognising facial expressions
- recognising who people are (insy tinsy bit face blind :/)

That's my own analysis anyway. I'm not diagnosed.

Haha, I made a post on this board where I said something witty. I decided to edit that part out and save it for a particular person, at a particular event, near the end of this year. I have a list of these things to say to various people written out on my computer.
