My WrongPlanet name came from a German underground film about suicide by Jorge Buttegeritte he shot it in super-8 I heard he used an elmo 1012 camera. I have one as well.

At work my nicknames were

TalibanDan
TaliDan
RocketDan
RainDan
The Dope

Its funny I got these due to my weirdness so I guess they are somewhat autism related. The Taliban related nicknames were because of how ridged I stuck to routines, the way I followed orders, and how everything in my work area had to be in a certain spot. RocketDan came from the movie Rocketman where the character was weird just like me. RainDan came from the movie rainman, I would come up with ideas of how to do something that were unexpected and brilliant. It was also described my ability to save metal parts that were thought beyond repair. The Dope came from my memory being so bad they thought I blew my brains out with too much pot smoking. Everyone at that job had a three or four nicknames and if you did not have one it ment noone liked you so it was not that bad for me.

I have been known as "The Bicycling Guitarist" since the early 1980s when I discovered that when I play guitar while riding a bicycle at the same time it provides some measure of relief from some of the physical and psychological symptoms of my neurological condition. For me, it is a meditation in motion.

I have ridden and played tens of thousands of miles, thirty years on the same bicycle, the past twenty years with the same guitar, writing hundreds of original songs a few dozen of which are posted on the official web site of The Bicycling Guitarist.

Most of my songs have never been recorded yet, including my best work. I hope to get more recordings and especially videos of me doing this before my talents fade.

Sillyputty was a of toy I played with as a kid. You could roll it up & bounce it like a ball, or flatten it out, press it onto the newspaper/comics & make copies of the pictures/words. Kind of like me: bouncing back, bouncing from relationships & trying to copy what I see happening in the world.

My first special interest was cats =^..^= I remember talking everyone's ear off (who would listen) about them in kindergarten. Now that was 40 years ago, so back then it was just "quirky"..."eccentric"..."smart kid but odd"....

Mine is from my favorite band, Katatonia. I also like the catatonic state I get into when inebriated and listening to things like Lustmord. Nothin fancy.

mine is the name of the robot in "lost in space". he was always simply called "robot" except for only once in the entire series when the robot cited his model number "B9" on request from a computer.

i used the robot as a role model when i was about 5-9 when i watched the series reruns.

"b9" also sounds like "benign".
