I am wondering if Tdap boosters have mercury in them because I have to have one prior to the entry of Middle School.

Get your private doctor to give you the shot. Tell him before hand
you want to see the bottle/paper work showing it is THIMERSOL
mercury free. Tell him to put in your medical records that it was
mercury free, the lot number, manfactur date , manufacture. If he
says no find a new doctor.

I would suggest asking your health care provider.

Otherwise, you can contact your state or local health department or the CDC who should know the answer to that.

I think some states ban mercury in vaccines and most drug companies do not use it anymore, at least in the US. Does not hurt to find out however.

States that currently ban thimerosal in vaccines are California, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, New York, and Washington.
