Like what age group were you in when you had the least amount of friends in school? These ages range from Kindergarten-College/University.

If you aren't that old to be in all of those categories, just cast a vote based on your school years thus far.

Yeah that makes sense. At least you picked one of the categories though.

3rd - 5th I only recall associating with adults. Other years I was with them to some point, even if negative.

I associated with peers to at least some degree (Even if negative) from Kindergarten-Grade 10. These last couple of years have been really quiet, like not only have I been completely isolated, but I haven't really been bullied either.

I hated Middle School. It was overcrowed, between classes the halls would be packed shoulder-to-shoulder with people and it made me want to scream. Because of this the other grades were much better even though I didn't actually socialize any more.

Currently I am the most isolated I have ever been. It all came tumbling downhill when me and my friends left school and went our separate ways in college. I realised I actually don't know how to make friends any more. I am pretty much a loner in college, but my friends have made new friends and are actually enjoying it there.

I haven't made a proper friend since 2007. I still keep in contact with my old (and only) friends, even if it is just to chill and play video games. I've never really done proper things like going out to the shops or the cinema with them.

My friend-making days are long gone so I am a lone wolf for the rest of my life.

I had no specific period in my life where I wasn't isolated.

I was most socially isolated during my last two years of high school, particularly my senior year. I was probably just more ready to graduate than I was interested in taking part in school-wide activities.

From 5 to 9 grade, specially in 5 and 6 (I chose the option 6-8 as the more similar).

I was the most isolated from my peers by choice, in Grades 9-11. I felt very old for my age, my interests were more mature and I couldn't relate to my peers, because of that.

It was hard to pick, but I picked early high years. I don't mean the year I went to college when I should have been in high school (and by should have been I mean really wasn't ready for college), I mean the years after that when I was put back into 9th and 10th grade, but not actually put into school, except institution schools sometimes, and so... totally isolating even beyond normal. I also don't count the "friends" who were really bullies in disguise but I was too young to see it. (My shrink did see it and attempted to keep them from seeing me, but he wasn't always successful.)

I've always felt isolated, even in a room full of people who claimed to be my 'friends'. They don't experience life the way I do, that's always been obvious by the differences in our attitudes, thoughts and behaviors. They get each other, but they have never had a clue who I am, and never will.

Grade 6-8.

But was always a loner.

In year 7 I would wander around and probably hate everyone more than the other school years.
