I paid attention to the lyrics of this song and almost cried. I feel this describes the relationship between someone NT and their Aspie partner (from NT's POV). It's pretty moving.

i know, i've said this before, but this is THE song that describes it all.... do you ever wonder why? why you don't fit in? why it never feels right? why everything? sometimes... this song reminds me that it is ok to be different. Cuz i will NEVER be like everyone else. And it's ok. someone out there understands. I don't need to explain or justify myself any longer. I am me. I AM.

Wow, the progression from my choice to yours...these could be on an Aspie soundtrack together. Great song! Yeah, very beautiful.

I think the best Aspie song is Lonely Ghosts, by O+S.

"Like lonely ghosts, at a roadside cross, we stay, because we don't know where else to go."

I'm able to relate to this song so much that I cry when I listen to it sometimes. It's pretty much the theme song to my life.

When I was young I used to make mixtapes full of songs like this :) I think I should do that again!

Natalie Merchant's "I may know the word" reminds me of my son who is MYLIFE. It makes me cry knowing he has been dealing with this for 25 years and not knowing what his problem has been.

Almost anything from Joni Mitchell's "Blue" album.
Not literally Aspie theme songs, as such, but the album is about relationships and each track resonates with various AS difficulties or situations so strongly it has me in tears every time.

I wad going to make a thread asking people to make there AS play list but since thsi is here I will just put my mini plaulist here.

Offspring-Gotta Get Away
Offspring-I Choose
Oleander-I Walk Alone
Candlebox-Far Behind
Matchbox 20-Unwell (By far my favorite song of all time)
Avenged Sevenfold-Almost Easy
Radiohead-Creep
Stone Temple Pilots-Creep

I had more but my memory is horrible so there you go.

These are the songs in my life that have always made me feel like the singer knew what it felt like inside of my head.
