Mom woke me up this morning (I'm better off waking on my own otherwise I'm usually in a bad mood that day.) :-( I was irritated that I couldn't get ready (Since both bathrooms are full) dad replied "I don't give a s**t!" That left me to run into my room in tears. :-( OMG! I hope I don't have an emotional bad day!! !! I know we were planning on going somewhere today but I'm better waking on my own vs. someone waking me. He's so rude sometimes SHEESH!

thanks. The "I don't give a s**t" comment (while normal behavior from him hurt none the less.) As much as I try it's hard to shake his rudeness. :-( (and yet they wonder why I'm depressed. No pills or therapist are going to help having toxic parents who are constantly rude to me! :-(

They are toxic indeed and not to damn them but they are probably pretty miserable themselves.

Hi Zelda! Sorry you had such a bad morning. I always love reading your posts cause you're always so positive and upbeat and you seem like you'd be a really fun and nice person to be around. It's too bad you have to hear stuff like what came out of your dad's mouth earlier, but anyway it's good that that crabby influence hasn't turned you into a negative person. I'm sure your dad's a good person and all, but crabbiness really can ruin a pleasant atmosphere.
