I posted earlier about Japan, and someone said something about researchers saying that Aspies do not show empathy.

Aspies have what I have read called a "flattened affect". I also have schizoaffective disorder. That is usually known to cause a blunted affect.

I read somewhere in a psychology book that schizophrenics/schizoaffectives do not really feel that much. I have to say that is bull. We just don't show it that much - not visible to those who don't have the disorder.

Same is probably true with Aspies.
