Deep Impact was just launched this past week, right? I record the daily video file from NASA on my TiVo everyday.

Those pictures are exciting, especially the pebbles. They seem very much like what we would see here.

It was launched from Cap Canaveral, in Florida, on Wednesday at 17:48GMT (13:48 local) with a Delta II Boeing.
