No, it puts me into a sensory overload. But that just depends. If I am expecting it, I do fine. But I hate real life drama and hate seeing two fights between people (It was exciting as a kid but seeing grown ups fighting, is scary and stressful) and I liked hearing my mother yelling at my dad (which wasn't very often) and I loved watching kids getting into trouble as a kid and on the internet where I see online dramas go on, oh yeah. Every time I hear about one going on or that went on, I always want to go see it and read it. One of the reasons why locked threads catch my attention. It's just like seeing a car accident, you always have to slow down to see it and that is why traffic gets backed up because everyone is stopping to look at it. I am one of those people too.
I don't know why seeing burning buildings or a crime scene or car accidents is such a guilty pleasure. I know lot of people are curious in that stuff or else they wouldn't hang around to watch or see it. I remember when I was eight, a few police cars and an ambulance came to my friend's house and I went rushing over there and so did a few neighbors and other kids. We all stood in the front yard and watched. I was there because I was very curious to see who got hurt. The EMTs rushed in the house with the stretcher and came out with my friend's mother and the next day everyone on the bus was asking her how she got hurt and my friend said she took too many pills. I learned then that is why mom would always get mad at me for taking these chewy favorable pills because if I take too much of those, I will end up going to the hospital too very hurt. I remember finding that all exciting because it was happening in my own neighborhood right behind my house when in fact someone was very sick and I should have been worried and scared for my friend than all excited but I was eight then so I am sure that is normal for any eight year old.
