Hi everyone! I was recently diagnosed with Aspergers, but I was not given a full evaluation with report, so I am going through another office to do this (for loan/school purposes). Anyway, I am hoping those with a professional diagnosis will be able to answer these questions.

First of all, when you were diagnosed, was the evaluation they gave you a psychoeducational one? That is what I currently have an appointment for in June.

Also, just out of curiousity (again, for those officially diagnosed--if you want to answer and are not officially diagnosed, could you mention that in your response.), at what age exactly did you learn to walk (how many months old)? Do people with AS usually walk at an average time or later than usual?

People with Asperger's usually walk early or on time. I was really slow. Maybe 2 years old.

My evaluation was just a bunch of questions and my mum helped a bit with answering the childhood ones, though I'm autistic not AS.

I walked at about 1 1/2 and talked about 2 1/2...don't know if these were on time or delayed.

(1)No, it was not psychoeducational. (2) I walked at 10 months old, on the early side but within normal limits.

What kind did they do? Do you know if psychoeducational is generally typical--it is SO expensive!
