How do I go about getting a diagnosis? (uk)

If you are still in Education, your first step should be to see the disability officer at your at college or uni, or if your still at school, get your parent to talk to the school.
If not, go and see your GP. Explain why you belive you have Aspergers and ask to be reerfed for a dignoses. Some health authotitys will fund, some wont depends, where you live.
Or you can go down the private route, it will costs you about £500 (at least thats what I've been quoted) but you will need a referal from your GP.
Cant tell you anymore as I'm still deciding which route, if any, to go down myself.
