As a child, I never cried. No matter how badly I hurt myself, I never cried. I also did everything I was supposed to all the time. Apparently I never went through a terrible two's stage. My parents would just tell me that it's time for bed, and off I'd go and put myself to bed for example.
I know that these are not "normal" childhood traits, and I'm wondering if these are some aspects of autism/asperger's or if it might be something else.
Is this similar to anyone else's childhood personality? If it's not asperger's, what would these traits indicate?
That sounds almost identical to my story. I didn't cry and I did my best to follow any and all directions that were given to me.
No idea if it's related to AS or not, but that is how I was too.
