And trusting you.. is not the nature of my game.

Anyway.

If you were forced to meet 5 people from here who would they be and why?

Here's mine:

jman ~ Is attractive and likes zelda, and has always been nice to me.
Sean ~ Facinates me
Mockingbird ~ Seems a really cool person and someone I could learn alot from and improve myself.
vetivert ~ Someone that would not care if I'm eccentric and annoying
TAK FISH ~ is always a good laugh.

You can add more but to do that you must guess one thing about hale_bopp's obsessions correctly to increase your list by one person.

Namiko and SpaceCase because I already talk to them alot and would like to meet them, Malcolm_Scipo because we could have alot of fun under US laws  , and Bec and hale_bopp out of curiousity.

Oh, hale_bopp, your name is Xxxxxxx, so now I get one more. 8)

I think I'll add Mockingbird to that list.

Too bad you didn't make the rules 10+1. :( There's alot of people I would like to meet, for a change.

TASH FAK - a comic genius with extensive knowledge of quality music
Bec - mostly because we seem to have a lot in common
Vetivert - Vivi's just a splendiferous witch
Mockingbird - is great to talk with
techstepgenr8tion - has got a level head on his shoulders

Mockingbirdy: Nicest, coolest, bestest, understandingest... only problem is that she would probably steal my Darcy! :o
Vetivert: What can I say? An amazing, caring, creative person full of witchy goodness... someone I look up to almost as a grandmother, *cough* I mean, mother!
Serissa: Another really interesting person to talk to: I admire her honesty, her openness, and her writing style!
Sarcastic_Name: TO GET MY VOICE BACK DAMMIT!! !
Sophist: Cos she's nice!

And anyone else who is willing to meet me! Oooh and Liger: Liger is TEH KEWELS! :D Anyone except PhoenixKitten that is... now she's just weird... plus I think our personalities would clash!

Hmmmm... Well I would still like to meet Ghosthunter, but...

1. pyraxis
2. Serissa
3. PhoenixKitten
4. anbuend
5. PeterMcKenzie (wherever he went-- cause I wanna see a real Scot up close in a kilt)

Argh, but I cannot choose. There are so many others I would love to meet as well. ViVi, hale, Prometheus, DeepThought, BeeBee, bobaloo, Neuroman... the list goes on and on. ARGH!

Can't we have a WP get-together so we don't have to choose?

Yeah, it's ego-stroking. But it's not an exclusively NT thing, it's a human thing. It just might be more commonly NT. However, AS folk do tend to be highly egocentric.

My list of members from Wrongplanet who undoubtedly deserve a nice ass-licking from me:

None.

Thank you, and good night.

I agree, and I was wondering how to get into the in crowd. If it simply has to do with sheer amount of posts in a day, I just haven't got time to get into this crowd.

I'm not sure its a ego thing for the in crowd. Someone who posts infrequently might be very interesting and make such a list.

In any case, some people like list like this and it really doesn't harm anyone. If one isn't into popularity type contest and one sees this as that, one can ignore the thread.

In a site this large, it is easy to lose track of infrequent posters if you are a casual viewer. On the other hand, some of my favorite reads are people who post depth, not a lot of misc things.

Ok, I'm done rambling for now...

I don't think there is an easy way, Tom; you either have that ability, or don't. Most people with AS don't.

Yes, neither.  I wonder what happened to him.

...there's an "in crowd" here? Funny, never noticed.
