I am male and 17 with ASD and I keep having this problem of being really clumsy when I do my work. I screw up a lot and cause other people to be mad at me. I often can't stay focused on the task and my mind is always wandering off. I have people think that I need "Special help" and than they get so mad at me. I have been referred to as slow and clumsy and many people think that I am actually ret*d because I keep screwing up. I am not a "Hands on" learner. I can't do things that requires me to use my hands. When I am in class working with other people they don't want to work with me because they know I am going to mess things up for them. People think that I need an aide to help me and that they need to watch me do everything like a 5 year old child. I am mostly treated like I am a lot younger than I am. I always screw up on my test and quizzes as well. When I am working on an assignment and I think I am good at it someone would look at it most likely a student and when they do they will go "Dude this is so wrong here let me show you." and I would feel like a idiot when they showed me the whole thing. I gave up hope in my self and that I have an inferiority complex that I expect to fail. I have gotten so many face palms because of how stupid that I acted. What can I do so I am not such a screw up all the time? I sometimes think that people think that I can't do the basic tasks.

I'm as clumsy as you are and I've got near 20/20 vision. It's very embarrassing and humbling.

I am not clumsy. People just need to pick up their invisible logs so I stop tripping over them.
