I am overweight and bothersomely so. I have some problems being organized in the kitchen too though...so I usually go for the easiest and most readymade thing there is which often involves junkfood. When I am hungery...I want food but dont want the clutter and the many steps it takes to make it. The other part of my weight has to do with medication that has made me overweight. If you ever want to put on pounds fast, try taking zyprexia (not advised for those with seizuires....found out the very hard way)
My advise to you is to keep organic healthy snacks for those times when you just dont want to do it. You can also cook a whole bunch of food at once and freeze into serving sizes so you just take it out when you need it and put it in the oven or nuke it.
The healthiest way I have found to store food is to freeze in in wide mouthed mason jars and then boil them when you want to eat.
As long as you get wide mouthed jars, they wont break in the freezer. I dont trust the microwave....as it was first invented as a weapon to kill people.
