I struggle to get enough food eaten every day because it takes me so long just to put the simplest meal together. I feel mentally exhausted after just making breakfast, so it really puts me off making proper meals the rest of the day... Recently I've resorted to snacking more than eating meals, even though I really hate not having a proper meal. Anyone else have the same problem? I'm underweight and think I'm still losing weight!

I'm underweight too but simply because food has never been a priority for me. It can easily get to 2 - 3pm and I'll realise I have actaully eaten anything that day.

Luckily I live with my parents so my mum puts foods of place under my nose at regular intervals when she's around, otherwise I'd probably starve.

I'm also underweight, but because I get absorbed in what I'm doing and forget to eat. Usually, if I'm on my own all day, I won't eat until I feel dizzy and confused.

Don't worry about snacking - it's better than nothing at all. Some snacks, like nuts, are healthy and full of calories (helps keep the weight on).

I'm disorganised, too. Sadly, that hasn't translated into anything good for my weight (I have about 80 extra pounds).

If being more disorganised in the kitchen would lead to my losing weight, I might just go for it....

Actually, small snacks throughout the day is the healthiest way to eat. As long as, of course, you're choosing healthy items and proper portions.

I am overweight and bothersomely so. I have some problems being organized in the kitchen too though...so I usually go for the easiest and most readymade thing there is which often involves junkfood. When I am hungery...I want food but dont want the clutter and the many steps it takes to make it. The other part of my weight has to do with medication that has made me overweight. If you ever want to put on pounds fast, try taking zyprexia (not advised for those with seizuires....found out the very hard way)

My advise to you is to keep organic healthy snacks for those times when you just dont want to do it. You can also cook a whole bunch of food at once and freeze into serving sizes so you just take it out when you need it and put it in the oven or nuke it.
The healthiest way I have found to store food is to freeze in in wide mouthed mason jars and then boil them when you want to eat.
As long as you get wide mouthed jars, they wont break in the freezer. I dont trust the microwave....as it was first invented as a weapon to kill people.
