Yeah, I heard about this! Good for him!

Pretty convinced that Siobhan Magnus, from last year, has AS too.

Am watching the video. He seems VERY high functioning to me. I would never guess if he had Aspergers.

Sometimes I wonder if doctors are overdiagnosing Aspergers. Until a few years ago, I only heard that word among my doctors and family, and not in the mass media. Now it's everywhere. It comes with more acceptance, but I wonder if doctors diagnose patients with it just as a quick-and-easy fix to other problems.

Well he's just performing. I'm sure if you actually chill with him for a few days you'd notice it.

How can Asperger's be a quick and easy fix? I don't understand.

He's saying AS is such a broad constellation of possible symptoms that it's easy to apply, though if more time were spent on some of the cases, a better diagnosis may be revealed.

Yeah he seems really high functioning, but I can kind of see it, during his interview he blinked a lot and kind of looked off away from the camera, and maybe that's his tourettes like he said, but I don't know, I could kind of just sense it. Plus, maybe he didn't seem so high functioning when he was a kid due to stress and stuff, but that just cooled off with age. Who knows? Besides, he's an amazing singer and that's all that matters really.

link to the audition:.

I caught the mention of Tourette'slast night but missed him also saying Asperger's,. It is on the clip I linked to, tho.

AMAZINGLY good - and has to have enormous balls to sing "Dream On" in front of Steven Tyler himself! 8O 8O 8O I'd pee my pants just being in the same room, nevemind singing one of HIS songs!

There's a lot of stuff on youtube of him doing Zepplin stuff from a couple years ago. He seems to have improved quite a bit since then - not saying he was bad in them! I found it really, really odd that, in the comments on one, everybody said he was copying Adam Lambert! Haven't they ever heard Plant sing?

Given the way he can go waaaaaaaaaaay high, I'd LOVE to hear him do some old Rush. Geddy Lee FTW! 8)

I don't watch it, those talent shows are bulls**t. But I wish the guy the best of luck.
