My handwriting is FAR better than it was...
[img][800:217]http://pics.livejournal.com/jadea_faith/pic/000951w3.jpg[/img]
Line #1 - neat printed
Line #2 - neat cursive
Line #3 - messy printed
Line #4 - messy cursive

Neat takes 3x the time and effort, also the messy gets a whole lot more messy if I put in zero effort - it's hard to create an example. I also have a tendency to write letters of words the wrong way round; e.g. completely gets written 'comp' and then 'ely' I'll either go back to fill in the middle or miss it out completely leaving me with a page full of words without their middles so I've not idea what I've written.

@Bloodheart

Our capital S's and B's are very similar. That is odd.

My handwriting was below average as a kid- thank god for computers and the internet- you don't even have to use handwriting for job applications anymore as you can apply online. The only time when handwriting is necessary these days is signing your own name.

I can write neatly for only brief sentences and it goes downhill after that.

On a more interesting note, I remember learning cursive in 3rd grade and having to write in cursive for assignments starting in 4th. I was told the schools don't teach cursive anymore because being able to hand-write fast is an obsolete skill due to computers. Is that true?

Apparently quite a few schools have stopped teaching it as part of their budget cuts.

Don't know about today, but 7 years ago, when I was in Grade 3, they taught it. They don't really care if you print or hand write assignments that much in high school though. It's very common for them to accept work done on a computer as well.

Wow, my camera really sucks. What the hell. Now this isn't even working. It shouldn't take over an hour to try and do this.

Nevermind, it works now.

Actually, a lot of Aspies have handwriting that people can't read. Your handwriting is OK. Nobody has perfect handwriting.

By the way, by the time they are adults, most people--NTs and Aspies--actually have handwriting that's illegible.

Sometimes I have trouble reading my own handwriting.

I have pretty good handwriting, but it came from years of practice.

Some old notes of mine from college...
