Some posts on recent threads suggest that not making eye contact with people you don't like is an aspie/autistic trait. Is it really? I thought it's perfectly natural not to make eye contact with people you don't like, regardless of whether you're AS/NT.

I don't know if NTs do this, too. But I certainly do. There's this woman I work with who is rude and bossy to everyone and I can't stand her. I can never look her in the eye, and if I happen to catch her eye accidently, I look down. It's very uncomfortable.

NTs do the same. That is what i've read somewhere time ago.
Also, an NT friend of mine, once asked if i disliked him because i didn't make eye contact with him.

As a person with ASD, the difference with me is that when i talk with someone i like, i'm more relaxed, even if i don't do eye contact. With people i dislike i talk with my back or my side turned to them

I don't really make eye contact with anyone; whether I like them or not.
