I do. I love saying Do,do,do,do,do to myself outloud and my family constantly say stop or it's stupid/ret*d etc. I also like tapping things and making small noises in general and yet if it's a loud sound I really dislike it or a screeching I automatically grab at my ears. So what are your noise stims if you have any? I've heard some WPers (if I remember correctly) liked meowing. :-)

I tend to say random things and have to be careful what I say around people.

I used to click my tongue as a kid but was told to stop that all the time. I don't do that anymore. I also tapped my foot or rocked my chair but also had to stop that because it annoyed other kids. I still tap my foot but I don't have it make sounds.

For me maybe it's an indirect noise stim, but I tap/rock my feet (often very fast) a lot which indirectly makes noise. My mother (among others too) used to constantly tell me to stop doing it. I would make a concious effort to stop but often would return to doing in a short time. I still have the problem. I also like to tap out different random rhythms with my fingers. Especially a 3/4 and 4/4 (one on each hand) when done so it results in a fun "horse galloping" sound. Relaxes me...annoys those around me :/

I tap/drum my fingers on things.

Ha ha, Jinglyjon, making that horse galloping tapping rhythm was something we did in one of my music classes to practice tapping triple/duple time.

Does farting count? Oh wait that could be a stimming smell?

Lol, I picked that rhythm up back when I was in high school. I participated in a indoor drum line program one year and it was used in one of the songs. Been doing it ever since. Ironically it was there that I realized I had no sense of rhythm. Thereafter I stuck with playing only wind instruments (saxophone).

I'm good at non sequitur and making up fun things to say, but tend to make up stuff in private, only, unless I know the person really well. I use certain words as stims. Sometimes, they are words I've made up.

I have all sorts. I don't really count meowing like a cat (and related things) as a noise stim. (If I did, I'd be stimming a LOT more than I figure)

I click my tongue, make strange noises, all sorts of stuff.

I used to meow/bark on a regular basis when I was really young.

Nowadays, in private, I repeat certain lines of the same dialogue when I'm completely by myself out loud and go into my head. I even do it when the whole backstory of the plot doesn't make sense with the dialogue.

I do, sudden loud noises and extremely high-pitched noises cause me to get anxious and sometimes go into a panic. Usaully if the suddenness factor is taken away I do better.... but if the noise is loud enough or high-pitched enough I get desperate for some releif. I think I remember punching a guy once because I just couldn't take it anymore.

High pitched noises bug me much more than loud noises do

"Speaking" my thoughts back in my throat so it sounds like I'm mumbling. Borders on talking to myself sometimes.

I do a lot of mumbling, especially when I'm alone. Lines of dialogue from movies and TV get stuck in my head and I can't keep myself from repeating them. "WHY so SERIOUS?" from The Dark Knight...ugh. It took me a long time to stop muttering that one, maybe because that phrase was on so many t-shirts, posters, ads, etc.

I get on my own nerves sometimes, but all I can do is go with it and try to work it out of my system. Of course, then another quote gets into my head and off I go again.
