I'm writing my master thesis in psychology and part of it will be this "test":

I can't post links yet apparently, just add 3w before this and change -DOT- to .
lalunanelcappello-DOT-com/test/at

is based on a Leonard Cohen test for Autism but with a twist.
The results will be posted this fall, after a thorough data analysis.

If you wish to get a personalized result once the results are out you can add an email address, please note that this is not required, the "test" is hosted on the website of a non profit organization in Italy and your answers will be only used for academic purposes.

I plan on working in the autism field as my career, so I hope this "test" will be beneficial.

Thanks

I could be interested.

Are there any special requirements for the study (age restrictions, diagnosis or lack thereof, etc.)?

Please reply in the thread or by private message.

Frankly, I would be hesitant to give my email to something I don't know that much about.

lalunanelcappello, Welcome to Wrong Planet, glad to have you here. But, straight up, this is only your third post. I'm not sure you've really built the track record to be asking people for their email.

<quote>Leonard Cohen test for Autism</quote>

I thought it sounded like an error at first, but I Googled it, and one of the other researchers at the Autism Research Centre where Simon Baron-Cohen is based has the surname Leonard, so it's possible they could have a test named after them both.

Oh, that makes sense. Belay the Hallelujahs

This works: http://lalunanelcappello.com/test/at
("-DOT-" = ".")

I was going to take it, but then I ran into that question about having a pervasive developmental disorder or not. To take it, I'd have to choose between "Yes - Undiagnosed" and "No", and I just can't make that determination. And it's not my place to. Me I know, but defining what is and isn't autism, or asperger's is another matter. (I'm leaving out the 3rd choice, Yes-diagnosed, since I know I couldn't truthfully answer that one.) I really don't want to make that guess. I choose not to.

I would take it, but it is based on just EYES. I can read FACES but not EYES.

1. You spelled pensieve wrong.

2. A few of the drawings in the second part aren't clear enough to figure out what's what to make any determinations. Maybe if you're well-versed in physics and know what the drawings mean you could, but for those of us looking for the first time... well, I couldn't tell what some things WERE, so how was I to know what they would DO?
