The majority of participants here have been banned on other forums, but aren't being banned here because it's their "safe haven". Whereas for me, I've never been banned on other forums because people get the concept of "teasing" and mockery and respond appropriately, but yet doing that very same thing here gets people's feathers ruffled because they take things so literally and whine and cry about it which attracts the attention of sympathetic moderators which is currently resulting in a ban being threatened.

So, in summary, aspies getted banned elsewhere but not here, while I've never been banned elsewhere but yet it's being threatened here. Does this FINALLY mean...

I AM NT?

Lol. That's about the same thing happening on my side here, but not elsewhere. I guess NTs and Aspies speak two fundamentally incompatible 'languages'.

Don't be ridiculous. If they were fundamentally incompatible there would never be any communication misfires because there would be no communication at all. They are nearly but not completely compatible, and this is where the friction exists.

As far as it goes, your teasing is boundary-violating in at least a few ways (including the assumption you can tease people you don't know with the suggestion that they're socially inept NTs, or the general thing about not undiagnosing people), and not seeing and thus violating boundaries is a common AS trait. You're not entitled to have everyone take your teasing in the spirit you say you intended, and your intentions are not as important as the outcomes of your actions.

Al Franken liked to talk about a particular kind of joking, something called "kidding on the square." If you come across that way and that's not your intent, it may be appropriate to change your approach, rather than blame everyone else for taking your jokes more seriously than you would prefer. The communication failure here is yours, not everyone else's.

As far as the thread topic, there's no acid test to prove either way that you're autistic or NT. It sounds like you don't think you're autistic, so why keep trying to prove that you're not? How much evidence do you need? If you don't think you are, odds are you are probably not.

Because I'm half aspie/half NT. The aspie side obsesses with the possibility of being fully aspie, while the NT side communicates, thinks and generates situations in such a way that contradicts that possibility.

This is what I mean by literalness, and apparently this attempted explanation at specifying my meaning is the kind of comprehension that's Aspie in nature because you didn't 'get' my intention, and apparently your post is generating the very kind of friction you're explaining. Funny, that.

It appears that people on WP take offense to being called an "everyday neurotypical." Especially when your sole criteria is that they have "charisma" and therefor could not possibly be on the spectrum.

. My understanding of people far exceeds what I communicate, for there are the ineffable aspects of personality. All of those traits plus charisma plus my NT comprehension of situations = REALLY HIGH ACCURACY, you dig? Plus, you can't forget, I have an exceedingly high nonverbal IQ and my emotional intelligence scores were off the charts, so you can't immediately dismiss me on the basis of what I type, alone.

I would have guessed it was about the personal attack that you admitted to the other day.

This is called "broad autistic phenotype."

Didn't you come here because you were having social difficulties?

I do think you misunderstood my post if you think it's generating friction. Unless it is generating friction for you, in which case that was not my intent.

Wasn't your emotional intelligence score from an internet test? Are you sure you can trust those things? Who knows how many false positives and false negatives that thing generates, right?

Just because I'm an aspie doesn't mean I get banned on other forums. I still have the common sense to know when I'm insulting someone.

You're one of the luckier aspies. You don't get banned on other forums, girls fall for you, plus you have at least some form of "common sense" -- Sounds pretty rare for an aspie. Almost too rare.

When an internet test tells me I'm a genius at something, I *know* it's right and I would never doubt its accuracy.

(Ok, yes, I did actually get the pleasure of analyzing the statistics for the test by comparing my scores to other peoples' scores online, and I was in the mere 80th percentile of many of the more "objective" indices. And, yes, who knows about the validity. For sure, it doesn't seem to correlate too tightly with peer acceptance.)

Not all aspies have been banned from other forums either. And lot of people do get banned from here too ironically.

I've said before that as far as I'm concerned having high intelligence isn't the same as being smart.

I don't know where you get the idea that aspies get banned from forums.

Also, why this constant "I must be NT", or "Am I NT or Aspie?" etc. Do you think anyone at all is even slightly interested?
