Always ask questions

Always asking questions...always wanting new info and all details.

It's extremely common for aspies to be inquisitive. We don't take things for granted and we need a reason for everything. It's the result of a very analytical brain.

It's common in Aspies to be very inquisitive, but kids in general are very inquisitice, Aspies or not. That alone cannot be considered as an indicator. My daughter is Aspie and she was not inquisitive when she was very young. She seemed to know everything, so she hardly asked, but when she did her questions were very difficult to answer.

I'm inquisitive.

It's a good trait, but I analyse things I should just enjoy. I think too much when I should be 'in the moment'.
I also ask authority figures too many questions.

I used to ask my parents questions about all sorts of things (probably more so than my brothers). Everything had to be for a reason. If I take something apart and look at all the pieces, I want to know what each individual piece does.

It's hard to imagine what life was like before we had Google and Wikipedia.

I was very inquisitive as a child and a teenager. I have an old tape recording on which I, as a two year old child, keep repeating the question to my father "What's in it?" with the microphone in front of my face to record my voice, "Microphone, my son, sing or speak something", he would say each time I ask, obviously not satisfying me with his answer. :)

I think I asked questions not only to satisfy my hunger for knowledge, but also to spare some effort to look after the knowledge by myself. I wonder if it had been a product of early appearances of executive dysfunction or some kind of learning disability.

I tend to be an inquisitive and curious person. Sometimes I might pester or annoy people with questions, but I would say I do that less than I used to.

Why are you asking this question?
How do you think the answers will benefit you?
Have you yet noticed that I'm also being curious and inquisitive? ;)

Yes, I am like this sometimes - not as much as other people with AS I've seen, but still somewhat, yes.

Yes, but I prefer to look for answers myself rather than to ask someone else.
