How can I meet other people with aspergers

I know this is rather contradictory but how can I go out and meet other people with aspergers?I wanna see other people like me because I kinda wanna know how they behave for a book I'm writing and I need stuff to do for the summer and I might make friends.

Join your local Aspergers/Autism support group. You can probably find one listed in your local Autism Society chapter. I've always wanted to join one of these kind of groups, but I'm too chicken. ahahahaha :lol:

You probably have already met a few of them but did not know it. I did not know what Asperger's was until I watched a tv show that talked about it one day by accident. Then I was shocked when they started mentioning the traits and I had a good number of them.

if you are in school or college they sometimes have groups.
