Outstanding Scholarship Opportunity for Autistic Child
My son, Shane was diagnosed with moderate to severe autism at age 3. With intensive therapy from my wife (who is a teacher) and a lot of prayers, Shane has been in a regular classroom all the way through school. He will be a senior next year. He has really been an amazing story. He is currently in the top 10 (3rd) in his class, has played varsity basketball and baseball. He plays violin, piano, and sings in the high school choir and regularly at Church. Shane is one of 12 finalists for the West Virginia Scholar scholarship. This scholarship is a 4 year tuition, fees, room and board to West Virginia Wesleyan College worth $125,000. As a finalist for this scholarship part of the process includes online voting. You can help Shane by voting for him at wv scholar (google search). It will not let me post the full website. There is a link to vote, it requires an email to vote, then you have to confirm your vote in the email you will receive from the wv scholar website. You can also view a video interview of Shane under finalists. The voting last until June 19th. We live in a rural area in West Virginia and are running out of connections to get him more votes, so I thought I would try this forum for help. I thought this might be an inspiration to other parents. If there is any way you could pass this on to others to vote we would certainly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

For a voting process this simple, this would be so easy to win with the help of a web spider.
