DID ANYBODY DO THIS?

IS THERE A TECHNIQUE YOU USE OR JUST BLIND GUESS? I KNOW I COUNTED THE DOTS ON TOP AND ONE SIDE AND MULTIPLIED TO GIVE THE NUMBER.. AND I WAS CLOSE MOST OF THE TIME...

HOW DID YOU DO?

I got one within 5 of the actual number. I didn't realize there were a different number each time, I thought I was given 5 guesses.

I did it a second time with the same results.

Once the dots popped up I just closed the tab, since I had no idea at all how many there were.

How to cheat:

1: open up ms paint
2: wait for dots to show up
3: when you see the dots, push the print screen button on your keyboard
4: go back to paint and go to edit, then paste
5: from there, take as long as you want to count the dots, then repeat the next with step 2

I'm still only getting one within 5 of the correct number every time without cheating.

I got within 2 on the third and within 5 on the fourth. It's not that hard.

At least I still have my mental arithmetic.

Same here. Not very clear instructions, and I found the flashing intro quite disturbing.

4/5 on first attempt within 5 of the actual number.
5/5 on seccond attempt within 5 of the actual number.

Interestingly, the first one on the first attempt was the one I was not within the actual number, because I did not know what the dots would look like. Both attempts had one frame where I was 100% correct about the number. Then again, you could say I was "cheating" because I already knew I could do that.

Interesting. I've never considered myself a 'counter' or as having any other such autistic superpower, but I got 3/5.

It's also interesting to see the variation amongst us.
