I'm curious, do any of you get dragged along by the delusion of the day instead of relativizing?

I live today under the delusion that I'll get the house cleaned by the end of today.

Why oh why do we live in such a large house?!

That a person let itself be enveloped by the latest craze in the news, mainstream development and/or popular topic instead of keeping calm and see the relative element in it all - thus not getting all in the emotional thinking when stuff happens.
