It kind of hurts, but I can tolerate it long enough to get a measurement.

I am not sure why but I like the pressure on my arm. :D
Sure, it is a bit uncomfortable when it takes too long and feeling the pulse can be annoying too, but it could be worse. :P

I hate that, too. It makes me nervous and actually gives a higher reading than my real blood pressure. I have to get a few readings taken to get a realistic value.

I have always found it very uncomfortable to feel my heart/pulse beating. I start worrying that my heart may stop beating if I am aware of it. Especially when I was a child, I was really scared of it.

I have high blood pressure so, regardless if I want to or not, I have to have it taken nearly every day anyway.

I have incredibly low blood pressure and so they have to take it multiple times just to make sure I'm not dying
I hate it, it hurts and sometimes leaves bruises when they have to keep checking. It also makes my hand all tingling.

At my doctors they have a new gadget to take blood pressure from around my finger and it doesn't hurt and is very quick.
No arm needed and it gives a full reading

Yes, it bothers me a bit.....usually have to have it done several times because it's hard to get a blood pressure reading on me. (something to do with having thick skin, or so my sister says)

I'm right with you on this one. I hate feeling my pulse--it's weird.

I don't like it. The pressure of the cuff and the feeling of my arm and hand swelling up... but I know it will be over quickly and not cause any harm, so I can deal with it.

I don't really mind the physical sensation as much as I mind the idea that someone's extracting specific information from me, ha...it definitely leads to an increased heart rate when they're checking my heart rate and increased blood pressure when they're checking my blood pressure. One time, a therapist I saw while in college, decided to try this bio-feedback device of some sorts which told you your heart rate so I could practice techniques to reduce and control my anxiety; for the entire sessions, it didn't once get below 120bpm and it was purely because I hated the idea that no coping technique or casual joke could mask exactly how much anxiety I felt while hooked up to it.
