Just a quick question for some fellow aspies, does anyone else get the feeling that concentrating and mustering a high level of brainpower, like when you have to remember many things and work with them in your head, is impossible to do without significantly increasing stress/anxiety levels?

Yes, but I am mildly brain damaged.

Many situations that you are required to summon up large amounts of brain power in are supposed to be stressful, though. Eg. calculus exams, job interviews, hiding a body etc

Yes all the time I must put all though energy into what I am doing and if people try to distract me I get real "itchy" and I get this gloom and doom feeling.

Feeling more anxious while doing complicated tasks is universal, not Autism-related.
