How many of you have been called annoying? Someone called me an annoying piece of s**t today and told me that they hate me.

this is largely why i am a hermit.

I've never been seriously called annoying, only in a joking sort of way by close family members. I'm sorry that happened to you.

I don't know what context it was said in, everybody can be annoying sometimes, but I know how much it hurts. If they added that they hated you, well you probably shouldn't be around them anyway. Thought I over heard a guy at work telling some other people from work that I was a moron though it might be excessive paranoia. My brother once told me I was goofy and that he hated me to my face. All siblings do that to a certain extent, but I really feel that he meant it and still does. My wife berates me, quite rightly often times, but always with love.

Annoying? Nope.

A jerk??

Yup.

I don't let it bother me though, since everyone who did, I thought was a jerk anyway. Takes one to know one I guess. 'Cept I didn't think they were jerks until they called me one. Rubber, glue, you know...

Why yes, yes I have been called annoying both in a joking and angry (for the lack of a better term) way.

I think some people just don't understand different personalities and decide to put a label on them.

I hear people constantly talking behind my back about how I am annoying but, the thing is I don't think I used to be annoying, I believe the problem was my whole life my family getting mad and telling me to speak up, and and have conversations (because I used to be really quiet), and when I became depressed and started losing friends I thought that was a source and probably was. So I conquered my anxiety and started talking but now it feels I have no barriers, it kind of feels like I don't have control and it's like I can't understand how others think about what I'm saying. Kind of like I became the polar opposite of my old self. I feel like I have been looking for the formula for social ballance all my life but I'm starting to realize that no matter what I do I will never be able to attain it. Hopefully I'm speaking to soon, I know I will never be fully socialy fullfilled but maybe I can get back to holding my toungue so I can stop commiting social suicide.

I've been called annoying many times, usually by kids in school. I'm pretty sure my siblings have called me annoying as well.

Oh yes, more times than I care to remember.

I've been called annoying a ton of times. My sister is the one who does it now. Before it would be people from school.

Yup! More times than I can count...it's been happening since I was a little kid too.

Lot of siblings call their siblings annoying though, NT or not.

No one does. Because I warn them I am annoying and then there is sort of nothing they can say.

Dunno about annoying, surprisingly. I know I annoy my family though, and I've been called other things.

Yup....I'e been called annoying. Then again, I've called others annoying, so I guess that is just karma.
