I am going to a psychiatrist this afternoon to evaluate if I have AS. Can someone tell me what to expect during the evaluation, for example what shrinks ask etc... Because I have no idea what to expect?

It would be nice if you write something about your own experience, thanks a lot :)

They will likely ask a lot about your childhood.

I had to do some sort of a written report... I don't remember what it's called, or if it is typical in these sort of things.

I had to do the test where they show you photos of eyes and you have to pick the emotion.

Lots of discussing childhood

Discussing sensory issues

Job history

School history

Relationship history

Well I just got diagnosed. It was very weird indeed. I did almost all the talking. The psychiatrist didn't give me any sort of test, and he said virtually nothing I understood when I left. Me and my mother then went to his office again and for some reason he asked about my father. I told him some of my dads quirks, then he said...
You do fit the description of AS so yes I think you most definitely have AS.

Was that a test to assess my nonverbal understanding or what?!
