Where do most aspies fall on the gender spectrum? I'm biologically female and it says I got androgynous. And it also said I was likely a female to male crossdresser(which Im not). But I do agree, I fall within androgynous area brainwise.

Pretty cool test.

A while back there was a poll done on how well people here identified w/their gender & very few felt particularly male or female. I certainly don't. I've been told I'm very androgynous. I'm a lesbian. I've never been particularly feminine, just a bookworm & animal nut.

Spot on, pretty much. I would love the ability to shift physically between male and female body type as easily as I do mindset, but that's mostly for sexual reasons. I'm proudly sexually deviant. >_>

Fun test. I've always wanted to take an assessment like this. F***in love self assessments. <_<

I was unable to take the test. However, I can tell you that I've always felt like a man trapped in a woman's body.

I'm not crossdressing in any way, and I never considered that. I feel female. So I guess this result kinda failed.

Yeah. I had to do the picture questions by opening two instances and clicking 2-3 times to get a few seconds worth of viewing time, then answering in the other window.

yeah I had trouble accessing the picture questions as well. I just clicked a random answer on those questions which likely skewed my results a slightly.

MY REACTION:
um, I am not a cross dresser. I am an androgynous dresser, if one must define it. I wear low shoes, they're western style riding shoes (not boots) and blue jeans and a polo shirt. Anyone in any western society could wear that. I have very VERY long hair, I wear in a pony tail. I have big boobs and big hips. I am not going to be mistaken for a guy any time soon. or ... ever. Just because I don't flounce around with lace hankies and ruffled dresses.... I dress for comfort, and to be invisible. I nearly succeed. Nothing sexual about it. Which is, I believe, the original point. Nothing sexual....... about it. at. all. :study: nowgoawayandleavemealone

I think the reported results are a oversensitive about female to male crossdressing because there is so little male only clothing. A girl who dresses for comfort will dress more similarly to men.

Also, fleurdelily, keep in mind that most crossdressing is not sexual. That's why there is a difference between transvestism and transvestic fetishism. I'm not trying to say that you are anything, of course, just reminding you that there is no sexual intent necessary in the crossdresser label.

thank you. I will try to keep that in mind, and I think you have a good point about the definition of "men's only" clothing. When I go shopping for any kind of clothing, I am only thinking ... this color must not be too loud. This item must cover all relevant bits of me, and the fabric must be something I can live in comfortably. It must be durable so that I don't have to do this shopping very often. When I put things on in the morning, I am not thinking any thing sexual about my clothing at all. nada. not, "will I look cute in this?" not, "will guys find me attractive" no, nothing whatsoever. Mostly, it's gotta be utilitarian. If I have a stack of interchangeable parts, stuff to cover feet, stuff to cover underneath and stuff to cover bottom half and top half, then that's just covered all the bases, then. Clothes stacked in my room are interchangeable solid colors. No thinking required. That's it. utilitarian is the concept, and I've streamlined it to be as no-brainer as possible

Though one could make the argument that such a utilitarian view of clothing is more typical of men, it's obvious that aspergers is a confounding factor in this assessment. I feel the whole assessment is in need of a good refining process, but can provide some insight and information, if you keep its issues in mind.

the questions that required the click--after the first attempt erased all my answers, I took the test again without answering them. I wasn't sure if it would calculate my score, or tell me to go back and answer those 3 or 4 questions, but I guessed on the first, picking a random answer, then didn't answer the remaining ones, and it DID calculate my score without answering them. My backup plan would have been to answer each one with the center option. (the way you do on angebra word problems - if you cannot do them, btw LOL)

Yup, sounds about right.

Where the hell did they find the word 'anallophilic'? Why couldn't they just put asexual?

<_<
All I can find about it is that it seems to be an unsuccessful term for asexuality, in part because it didn't fall linguistically in line with heterosexual and homosexual. This has set me on an information gathering kick that might find a better assessment than this, though.

It is also suggested that it means a lack of emotional attraction specifically rather than a lack of sexual attraction, due to the root meaning of philia being love.

It seems to be an old, orphaned web page. The system requirements state that IE 6 is the best choice. Sorry but I just can't take seriously ANYTHING that requires IE 6! Also, it was designed to work with Windows 95 or 98, which tells you just how old it really is.
