Hi, I wasnt sure where to put this so I thought the General part was where I should go.

I want to get one of those Autism/Aspergers ribbon shaped pin, but I dont know where to find one. Any ideas?

If not then are there those plastic bangle things (like the Help for Heroes) for Autism and Asperger's??

Thanks.

Well, whatever you do, just don't buy 'em from Autism Speaks. They'll take your money and use it to buy catering for celebrity parties. Seriously.

I know you can find some pretty cool T-shirts online... I swear I saw one that said "Autism Rocks!" at one point.

Cafepress has the largest variety of autism-themed knick-knacks. Along with the puzzle ribbons put on every conceivable surface, there are also many variations of the "autism rocks" one that Callista saw and many witty jokes. I like the one that says, "hang on...I have a social story for this" with a picture of somebody going through a stack of papers. There's also an acronym that somebody here uses as a tagline: Always Unique Totally Interesting Sometimes Mysterious.

I recommend Cafepress for sheer variety. Just put "autism" in their search engine.

Not sure about the bracelets but there is a young girl in Marblehead, MA who has done bracelets that say "Aspergers Awareness" on one side and "Education Before Judgement" on the other side. Not sure about the cost but the proceeds of her sales will be donated to the Aspergers Association of New England. I can get info on these bracelets cost and where to purchase if anyone is interested.
