Adjustment Disorder and Autism?
Do they have any sort of relationship?
I am feeling really depressed as I am slmost about to finish university. Now after uni I will have nothing to do except look for a job. I am not really to face this big bad world and I hate how everyone (okay most people) are going into honors or already have job. As much as I struggled doing assessments, I was really set in my ways at uni. I wish I could just stay there forever. *Sigh* (and no I can't do honours cause my marks aren't high enough )
I don't think so. I first heard of it when I was 18 when mom told Social Security I have it. I figured it was a name for one of my Asperger traits for difficulty with change. But nope, it's completely different when you look it up. For a while I thought it was BS because lot of people would have a hard time when they lose a job or go through a divorce or separation or when they move but it just means they don't make any improvements and it's onset for three months or more if I remember correctly and that isn't me because I do get better once I adjust when things get better so I don't have it.
I suppose people on the spectrum would have more difficulty with coping with these things because it's a change.
