YOU ARE INVITED to a talk on Asperger’s Syndrome and Psychological Type.

Where:
Unity World Healing Center
366 3rd St. (at A St.)
Lake Oswego, OR

When:
Saturday, September 9th, 9:00-11:30 AM

The program will compare and contrast two vastly different ways of being. It will address the following questions.

*Are faulty criteria being used to diagnose AS?

*Does contemporary (non-Jungian) psychology have a bias toward seeing disability in almost everybody?

*Are people being diagnosed with AS solely - or even mostly - on the basis of their divergence from the social norm?

*Is AS ever an appropriate diagnosis? What does this mean in terms of type development?

*Which types are involved in diagnosing AS, and which types are most often diagnosed?

Note: A $5.00 donation will be requested from nonmembers.

Second note: The program is based on a paper which I wrote for the Journal of Psychological Type. For those who can’t come to the talk, but would like to find out more, a copy of the paper will be available. Please leave me a private message with your email address and I’ll send you a PDF, probably before the end of the year. I don’t get on this site very often, so, if you haven’t heard from me that your message was received, please keep trying. I WILL get back to you.
