Just wandering if there is / has been a conference by autistics, for autistics. Where all speakers are on the spectrum, and the target audience is other's on the spectrum (young) adults and older children, rather than parents/carers/professionals etc?

Well it's still only the first day but it's great. It makes such a refreshing change to be around people who understand what life is like for people on the spectrum. They have put a lot of things in place to make sure as many people's needs are catered for as possible. I haven't met many other adults and young people on the spectrum and it's interesting to see the similarities and differences between myself and others.

Yeah, there are even small ones too - I went to a small one day one in Boston soon after my diagnosis, and the fact that it was by autistics, for autistics was really nice.

Autreat sounds interesting :)
