Hi all, I am new here, but have been a long-time lurker. I love this site & have gotten lots of useful insight into my son with Aspergers, who happens to be the most amazing boy of all time But I digress...

I am coming out of lurkhood to ask for your help to make a dream come true for my son. I entered a contest to win 100,000 Starwood points so that I can take the family to Hawaii so that he can see the Volcanoes there & learn all there is to know about his favorite pasttime (Hawaiian Volcanoes...lol). The thing is that I need votes in order to win the contest, and the other finalists are "regulars" in the travel world and are getting help from their compatriots in that world. My world revolves around my kids (and helping other peoples' kids as well), so I don't have the support of that online community behind us.

My hope in coming here is that you guys would understand how important this is to us & would throw us a vote if you see fit. It is a very quick process and does not involve any registration, email, etc.

I definitely think yours is the best entry - you give reasons beyond "we want to go to this place" for why it'd be good for you to get the points.
