Anyone else offend people because complete lack of emotion when they give you a gift. Holidays suck when people have these sparkle in there eyes and I say oh cool in a monotone voice. When I fake it they think I'm purposly being a jackass.

No, never. I am easily made happy by the thoughtfulness of my family, who often give me gifts I love as they know my taste.

Even if it doesn't make sense to them, they go out of their way to make me happy.

And they understand my gratitude also even if it does not look like their own. :)

I don't have that problem. I'm happy to receive gifts, because I know the person put a lot of thought into the gift. :)

I have to force myself to outwardly show my gratitude. It's quite difficult, mainly because I have to concentrate on both my facial expression and voice. I think I've done passably so far.

Oh I'm happy. I just can't show any excitement.

Now and then I have problems showing excitement, even with gifts. I don't think I've ever offended someone, though. The thought is most important to me anyway, and the thought tends to be very nice, especially with friends.

I love it when my family chooses to get me a gift and I think they know that, but I do have to force myself to show my gratitude in the same way.

I have problems showing excitement and happiness when getting a gift. Its really hard to express it externally because I feel happy on the inside but never show it. It really makes my family or my husband that I am being selfish or inconsiderate.
