people don't like me for my spelling they don't understand how much I try I guess it doesn't look like I do when I really do try I tried so hard that I just can't do it anymore. I guess spelling is such a bad problem to people that they can't be your friend.
I was trying to make friends on another site they told me that I was doing something wrong I didn't understand it they kept explaining it to me but I still didn't get it then they thought I was just fooling around when I wasnt I got really mad at myself inside my mind I yield at myself the only words I could hear in my head was understand just understand you idiot! I was so mad I felt like blowing up some people would say it was such a little thing it should not have been a problem but to me every things are problem I take things too hard everything feels like it's coming at me with a lot of speed. What's wrong with me?
why did I get this feeling inside when it was such a simple problem I just got so angry I wanted to bust open and scream
I even wanted to get off the computer and hit the walls all of that I think was frustration and anger and sadness.
Everything her when that happens is this part of autism feeling like this getting this angry?how ? why?

I thought about it and I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't be myself at all without it. I wouldn't have my current personality or outlook on the world if I was born differently. I want to keep that and get rid of the flaws. Working on it. I don't want to normal. I want to be better!

I can't see the problem with your spelling. It's not perfect but who cares, it's good enough and it gets the message across. If you really want to fix it get someone in real life maybe to explain to you what was wrong with it and see if you can learn from it.

Or you can copy what said and post it here if you want and we can have a look at it.

I can see how spelling and grammar can be your enemy, especially online because that's easier for people to see than what you're actually trying to say. Unfortunately, appearances do count for something in this world.

Is that your problem? You will have to face that all through life... so it's in your best interest to learn how to get by as best as you can.

Is that your FAULT? No!

Don't give up on improving yourself all the time and overcoming any challenges you have, but don't be too hard on yourself either as long as you're trying. I'm terrible to myself as well and it isn't easy to overcome that, but you can eventually.

Yeah, there actually aren't any spelling errors. Unless you count "wasnt" without the apostrophe. It was somewhat difficult to read your writing because you don't use a lot of punctuation and because there were grammar mistakes.

I don't want people stay away from WP because they think people would make fun of them for not having perfect grammar. I won't do that, and I hope nobody else will, either.

Your profile says you are 17 years old; are you still in high school? If you are, maybe you could ask for extra writing lessons, if you are really that worried about it. A tutor, maybe?

But if anybody looks down on you for grammar mistakes, then they're being pretty shallow. Some people are good at grammar, some people aren't. This is an autism forum--we should expect to have people here who have trouble with language. Lots of us have dyslexia or ADHD, too. And besides, bullying people is against the rules and the mods will kick people out if they try it.

Your spelling is fine, I can easily read your posts.

Spelling isn't that big of a deal. You should see my spelling in handwriting! It's awful. Due to ADHD I randomly forget letters and entire words. I start a sentence and then... I forget to complete that sentence.

It's much easier for me to type but I still take my time.

There are some people who think spelling = intelligence. That's downright stupid and you should just ignore such comments.

I was friends with a much younger boy with untreated dyslexia. Out of interest in mysteries, he joined a forum of mostly adults with average or good spelling. I think they were surprised at first to have a young teen talk/write with them who frequently spelled even "and" wrong and had very unique spelling.

But they just treated him like any other person on the forums and took their time to read his posts even when the posts were private and rushed and real hard to decipher. He was an interesting and intelligent person and everybody would have missed out on what he had to say if they had ignored his posts because of spelling mistakes.

Your spelling and puntuation is good enough as we're able to read your posts and then comment. And in the end, that's all that really matters.
