Last time this girl told me that I have a bad memory. I later found out that I couldn't remember stuffs when she was around.

This other girl told me that I was funny, every time I see her, I can think of the best jokes.

With another girl, I was figeting the fist time I saw her. Now every time I see her, I figet.

The same goes for every one I meet. I am a very different person for every one.

I still don't know who I am.

Be tough with the tough folks
Gentle with the gentle folks

I'm actually amazingly the same and constant, and should be called 'Everlast'

I didn't know who I was for ages either, like you describe. But for me, finding out about AS and getting diagnosed made me more assertive about who I was and made me realise that I could stop fighting those aspie aspects of myself, as there was a scientific "reason" for my being an alien. I've since come to accept my alien-ness, and to focus on milking the joy out of life in my own alien way.

I think the moral of what you said in your post is that you should only spend time with people who say positive things about you, because then you will adopt those positive qualities.

By the way, if you haven't already, do check out the Woody Allen movie "Zelig". It's about a guy who, like a chameleon, turns into whoever he happens to be around.

I know exactly what you talk about. It used to annoy me very much. Now by every judgement I receive I think: ha! I know what you think... The hard thing is family. It seems they keep being surprised without understanding that I dont fit to their picture.

I think you're a very generous person who will give me double-chocolate chip cookies every time we meet.

COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT!

I'll settle out of court for a double-chocolate chip cookie. Scratch that, two of them.

I'm silly with others who have a big sense of humour and who would laugh at anything.

I'm serious with others who are serious.

I can be immature and babyish when I'm with my 10-year-old cousin.

I can be grown-up and mature when I'm with people around my age or older.

I speak in a monotone voice to some people who I don't like, who I don't get along with, or if I'm not on their wavelength or they're not the right person for me.

Is it possible that you just feel pressure to be like they image you?
and by feeling that pressure you might be disabled to actually make it happen 8)
I"m not really familiar with that but it might make sense.

Just stay yourself and don't allow anyone to change the real you.
