Hi, while I am not an Irish Aspie by a strict definition, I do live in Ireland (Cork).

While I'm not Irish, I wanted to let you know that I am also taking Lexapro. In my case, it has been a miracle drug that brought a severe case of OCD under control. I hope it works well for you too. :)

I have a rich Irish heritage. My mom even has cousins in Ireland she writes too all the time. Our land lord back in Texas is married to a Mexican woman and they send their daughters to her parents' house in Mexico all the time so they can be fully imerised in Spanish. I often tell my mom she should send me to Ireland for the summer so I can be fully immersed in the accent and learn some Gaelic.

My mom also would definatly be diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome if she were a child today. My dad probably would too and there's a lot of Irish on his side as well.

Lexapro takes about a month or two to start working, and even then your doctor may have to increase the dosage so you get maximum benefits (mine had to be increased to 40mg in order to work best in my case).

hi Nay,I have not many friends In real life...I have just finished school so I have lost contact with many classmates but I have started college classes in art and design so I'm hoping to make friends that way.
Mainly though, all my friends are online...which is not good for learning social skills... :?
I used to live in blanchardstown and visit there every now and again...but most of the time I'm in sligo.
feel free to send me a Private Message if you like if you don't want to post any more information here.:)

Although I am an American, I have plenty of Irish ancestry. And I have Asperger's. So you could consider me an Irish Aspie. But I also have a lot of English and Dutch ancestry too.
