To the best of my knowledge, there are very few members in Ireland.

I'm part Irish, but I don't know any of the heritage. All that being art Irish means to me is that I have my family's genetic predisposition for alcoholism. :(

I'm mostly Irish, but I live in the US. I don't actually know anyone who lived in Ireland. Ireland/Irish history/Irish music and so on and so on are a major category of obsessions for me.
I hate traveling, but if I was ever going to take a vacation anywhere, it would be Ireland

I am Irish, English, Scottish, German, Swiss, French, and Danish. I am a typical American mutt. :D

I'm part Irish, and grew up in an Irish neighborhood in the US.

For the most part, yeah, the EU kinda made Irish unification a dead issue. It's pathetic that the bunch of tossers that are calling themselves the 'IRA' these days are now supporting themselves by smuggling and selling heroin and cocaine to the people they claim to be fighting a war of liberation for.

Trust me when I say that you want nothing to do with the group of people calling themselves the IRA these days. The whole IRA/UDA thing is essentially a Crips/Bloods or Hells Angels/Outlaws scenario these days.

Its a bit more complicated than that owing to political divides and discriminations in Ireland but i agree that there is a lot of criminals in the groups you mentioned taking advantage of the situation as you would expect.
